Treucaller has released a new version of their app that includes a slew of new capabilities. Call announce, ghost calls, and video caller ID are just a few of the capabilities available. It’s also been verified that iOS users will be able to use these features in the near future. We should expect an official announcement about an update to Truecaller’s iOS app that includes these functionalities. Truecaller’s New Features Truecaller’s Video Caller ID function, for the uninitiated, allows users to record a brief video message that will be played automatically when they make video calls to their phonebook contacts. These are self-portrait videos that will be either original or pre-loaded templates. This Video Caller ID feature will function for both personal and confirmed business contacts in the phonebook. The other new feature, Ghost Calls, allows users to make a fictitious phone call.
