Sony has announced officially the PlayStation 5(PS5) will launch in time for holiday 2020 and many are looking forward to it already with the PS4 reaching the end of its lifecycle. In a job posting which has now been deleted and reposted, Sony describes the next-generation console as the “world’s fastest console (PS5) in 2020”.
The job posting by Sony is a vacant position for a Senior Cloud Engineering Manager contained the scoop about how fast the PlayStation 5 will be. That particular part has now been deleted but it was spotted by a Twitter user before it was taken down.

Sony’s rival, Microsoft is expected to launch its Xbox Two next year codenamed Xbox Scarlet. Could the initial posting by Sony be done to rile up Microsoft or Sony actually meant it when it said the PS5 will be the fastest console next year? It remains to be seen.
In any case, the PlayStation 5 is expected to be a very fast and powerful console. Back in May, Sony demoed a video comparing the performance of the next-generation console with the PS4 Pro. See the tweet below:

Much of the specifications of the PlayStation 5 has already been revealed by Sony. It will offer support for 8K graphics, super-fast SSDs, 3D audio as well as backwards compatibility with currently available PlayStation 4 games.
